Holidays trip is over so its back to the drawing board for me folks!
This is my entry for
's contest, where you have a set of themes to choose from to draw the characters of her comic with. [link]
So I've chosen the music theme theme [link]
I think it fits nicely with the feeling I wanted to show in the piece
In the OMFA story, Urten, the proud and aggresive alpha wolf of the Ganvar pack, founds out that Raven (a female he was secretly meeting with) was an omega (the lowest social class among wolves)
That was unthinkable for him since he values the social status and hierarchy almost militia-like.
So then, he went out in rage looking for Raven, only to find an unknown female who introduced herself as Snow.
Moreover, she had with her a pup with few days of being born named Wolpy, telling Urten that was his and Raven's son
Raven had to leave and probably would never come back, and as a sort of last wish she asked Snow to deliver Wolpy at Urten's care.
After recovering from the initial shock and despite of Wolpy being a bastard son (Urten already had a mate) he took the pup with him anyways to his pack, yet not revealing who Wolpy really was.
Starkiller (Urten's "official" mate) took Wolpy as a step son, raising him along with her own and Urten's pups.
Now, what'd happen if Starkiller founds out the truth about Wolpy and Raven?
I've always thought of Starkiller as the calm and motherly type, but you know, even the sweetest mother can turn into a raging beast when it comes to protect her family.
So I figured that although Wolpy isn't her son (even worse he represents Urten's cheating to her) she'd still feel the need to protect him, and she'd more likely aim all her anger at Raven and see her as a threat for her family.
There are other little bits of symbolism that I added to the piece but I don't wanna bore you to death with geeky details
tl;dr version: Blah blah blah I drew dis, I happy
Wolpy, Urten, Snow, Raven and Starkiller are (c) of
[EDIT] Added a stronger contrast and shading to stand out the characters a bit more.
